Bloom Paradise: A 2-Player Co-op Arcade Adventure

Flower Fairies Tamabo and Hanabo Star in New Game

H.T. Project Games and Waku Waku Games have announced that the arcade action game “Bloom Paradise” will be released on Thursday, June 19, 2025, for Steam (PC) and Nintendo Switch.

“Bloom Paradise” is a fixed-screen action game where the flower fairies “Tamabo” and “Hanabo” work together to fill the stage with flowers. The game’s design is inspired by late 80s arcade games. The goal is simple: fill the screen with flowers! Wash away mud and pesky enemies with water.

Enjoyable in both single-player and two-player modes, the Steam version supports Remote Play Together, allowing friends to play together even if they don’t own the game. The Switch version allows for easy two-player action by sharing the Joy-Con controllers.

A unique feature of the game is how flowers are grown differently in single-player and two-player modes. In single-player, flowers bloom simply by moving across the ground. In two-player mode, one player creates buds, and the other player touches the buds to make them bloom, making cooperation key to victory. Can you clear all 100 stages?

Game Overview

Story:

Once a paradise filled with colorful flowers, “Bloom Paradise” has been ravaged by mischievous pests. The flower fairies “Tamabo” and “Hanabo” must combine their powers to restore Bloom Paradise to its former glory by defeating the pests.

How to Play:

Players control “Tamabo (1P)” and “Hanabo (2P)” to plant flowers. Clear a stage by planting flowers on every tile. The method of planting flowers differs between single-player and two-player cooperative play.

In single-player mode, “Tamabo” plants flowers simply by walking on the ground. In two-player mode, walking on the ground only creates flower buds. The other player must then touch the buds to make them bloom. Work together to reclaim Bloom Paradise from the pests.

Tamabo and Hanabo can shoot water by pressing the attack button, washing it in the direction they are facing. Flowers cannot grow on muddy ground. Use water effectively to clean muddy tiles and defeat enemies blocking your path.

Features:

  • 100 stages
  • 19 types of charming pests
  • Different gameplay in single-player and 2P cooperative play
  • Game design reminiscent of late 80s arcade games
