‘Different Star’s Us,’ the two-player, objective-hidden puzzle adventure developed by Tokoronyori and published by Kodansha, received a significant update, Ver. 2.0.0, on May 23, 2025.
What’s New in Ver. 2.0.0?
The highlight of this update is undoubtedly the implementation of an additional ending and accompanying stages.
According to the Steam event page, this addition was motivated by player feedback and a desire to further explore the fates of the characters, which were initially left to the players’ imaginations.
The developers stated that they “want to truly entrust the future beyond this newly added ending to the players,” suggesting a conclusion that will spark even more heated discussions among players who cooperate to see the game through to the end.

The starting condition for the additional content is the same as in Tokoronyori’s previous work, ‘Different Winter’s Us.’ If you met the starting condition before the update, you will automatically begin from the additional content.
