Hexanaut.io: Conquer the Grid!

Dive into Hexanaut.io, an exhilarating multiplayer strategy game where your objective is simple: dominate the map! As a daring explorer, you’ll navigate a vast hexagonal grid, strategically expanding your territory and outsmarting your rivals.

Gameplay:

Your journey begins from your home base. To claim new land, venture out and draw a line behind you. As you connect this line back to your existing territory, the enclosed area becomes yours. But beware! This expansion comes with a risk: if an opponent crosses or touches your active line before you complete your capture, you’ll be eliminated, forcing you to restart your conquest.

The ultimate goal is to become the Hexanaut. To achieve this prestigious title, you must successfully capture and hold at least 20% of the entire map. Once crowned the Hexanaut, the challenge intensifies: maintain control of 20% or more of the map for a full two minutes to secure victory!

Strategic Totems:

Scattered across the map are powerful totems, offering unique advantages to aid your expansion and defense. Master their use to gain the upper hand:

• Spreading Totem: Deploy this totem to automatically expand your territory with radiating lasers, perfect for passive land acquisition, especially during the early game.
• Speed Totem: Collect these to significantly boost your movement speed. Speed totems stack, allowing for increasingly swift maneuvers and rapid territory claims.
• Teleporting Gate: Utilize these gates for instant travel across the map. They provide quick escapes, surprise attacks, and efficient repositioning to outmaneuver opponents.
• Slowing Totem: Create a localized zone that drastically reduces the movement speed of any player who enters it. Use these to trap enemies, defend key areas, or slow down pursuing rivals. Be mindful of enemy slowing zones!
• Spy Dish: Gain invaluable intelligence with the Spy Dish, which reveals the real-time locations of all other players on the map. This crucial information allows you to anticipate threats, plan ambushes, and defend your hard-won territory.
