How to Play

Mastering Solitaire - Classic Klondike Solitaire Card Game is intuitive, offering a straightforward yet deeply strategic experience. Here’s a guide to the core Klondike gameplay:

Objective: The primary goal is to sort all cards into four foundation piles, one for each suit (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades), in ascending order from Ace to King.

Game Setup:

  1. At the start of a Klondike level, cards are dealt into seven tableau stacks and one draw pile. The first stack has one card, the second two, and so on, with only the top card of each tableau stack face-up.

Moving Cards: 2. To Foundation Piles: * You can move any visible Ace to an empty foundation pile to start a new suit. * Subsequent cards can be moved to a foundation pile if they are the next card in ascending sequence of the same suit (e.g., a 2 of Hearts on an Ace of Hearts). 3. Within Tableau Stacks: * Cards can be moved between tableau stacks. A card can only be placed on another card if it is one rank lower and of the opposite color (e.g., a Red 7 on a Black 8). * You can move a single card or a sequence of cards (a “run”) that are already in descending order and alternating colors. * When a face-down card in a tableau stack is exposed, it is automatically flipped face-up. * An empty tableau stack can only be filled by a King or a sequence starting with a King.

Using the Draw Pile: 4. The draw pile allows you to introduce new cards into play. You can choose to draw cards one at a time (for an easier game) or three at a time (for a more challenging experience). 5. Any card drawn from the draw pile (or the top card of the waste pile) can be moved to a tableau stack or a foundation pile if it follows the rules outlined above.

Helper Features: 6. Hint: Tap the Hint button for a suggestion on your next possible move. 7. Undo: Made a mistake? Use the Undo feature to reverse your last action, allowing you to try a different strategy. 8. Magic Wand: If you find yourself stuck with no apparent moves, the Magic Wand can magically rearrange the remaining cards on the tableau, potentially revealing new opportunities and winning paths.

Winning the Game: 9. The game is successfully completed when all cards have been moved to their respective foundation piles. You will be awarded stars based on your efficiency (remaining cards and number of moves).
